Sherry B Dessert Studio introduced its Roasted Strawberry Ice Cream and Blueberry Crisp Ice Cream this summer at its location at 65 King St., Chappaqua, N.Y.
The Roasted Strawberry features roasted pureed strawberries, while the Blueberry Crisp is accentuated with vanilla ice cream, fresh blueberry sauce and struzel.
Blockinger graduated from both the French Culinary Institute and the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Her recipes aim to infuse her love of American desserts with French technique.
Also new to the Sherry B menu is the Fluffernutter Ice Cream Sandwich, made up of marshmallow fluff ice cream, with speckles of peanut butter, inside two slices of homemade banana bread; as well as the Suzy Q Ice Cream Sandwich and the Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwich.
Other studio favorites include their Chocolate Chunk Cookie and the Blondie Ate a Brownie Bar.
